Strictly’s Pete Wicks confirms romance with Maura Higgins as they snog in the street on dinner date

STRICTLY Come Dancing’s Pete Wicks has finally confirmed his romance with Love Island star Maura Higgins.

The Sun’s exclusive images show the pair enjoying a kiss after a date at east London hotspot Gloria.

TOWIE alumni Pete, 36, who has been linked with his Strictly professional partner Jowita Przystal, 30, in recent weeks, was seen planting a kiss on Maura‘s cheeky before going in for a full snog.

Dressed in a black jacket and matching jeans, he joined the Glow Up Ireland anchor, 33, as she braved the chill for a cigarette outside trendy eatery Gloria.

Maura opted for monochrome stying with a black puffer jacket paired with white flared trousers.

She pulled her brunette hair back in a slick bun and kept her make-up fresh for their date night.

After she finished her smoke, the pair could be seen laughing at something on Pete’s phone.

They embraced in a cuddle before staying close as they walked down the street.

WHOLE LOTTA HISTORY

The TV stars first set tongues wagging after they were pictured snogging in public in the summer.

However, according to the Mail the pair were seen getting VERY close at the afterparty for the Pride of Britain Awards.

The outlet said a fan saw Maura “planting a kiss on Pete’s nose before the pair kissed on the lips”.

This latest news, comes weeks after they were seen “all over each other” in a pub, when Maura joined Pete and his Strictly co-stars in the pub.

An onlooker at the time told The Sun: “They were chatting to Pete’s co-star Wynne Evans and it was very clear they were more than just friends.

“Things have clearly turned romantic as they were all over each other.

“At one point she ran her hands through his hair under his hat, and they were cuddling loads too.

“They looked really cosy and comfortable with each other.”

The pair first got fans all hot under the collar when they were pictured kissing in a posh bar in London.

An onlooker told The Sun Pete came to join Maura at the posh five star hotel where she had been having lunch with friends.

STICKY SITUATION

Pete was recently caught in a sticky situation when he was forced to address romance rumours with both Maura and Jowita.

It came after Pete and the former Strictly champ appeared to kiss in rehearsals.

His close pal Olivia Attwood grilled him on her So Wrong It’s Right podcast.

“Your dating life. Maura Higgins,” said Olivia as she wanted the real tea behind the rumoured romance.

“Me and Maura have known each other for a long time,” began Pete as he wanted to seemingly clear up any confusion.

Olivia was keen on hearing more as she interrupted him by saying: “You’ve had a kiss, we’ve seen it!,” Olivia.

But Pete denied there was anything more than friendship between the duo, replying: “No, you haven’t seen it.”

However, Olivia seemed insistent on getting to the bottom of the story as she continued to press her pal.

Doubling down, she stated: “We’ve seen a picture of it,” as Pete continued to deny the existence of such an image.

Talk then turned to a potential spark with Jowita after they shared a very flirty comment.
