Elon Musk’s daughter reveals she’s leaving the US following Trump’s presidential win
Elon Musk’s estranged trans daughter — who the billionaire Tesla owner claims was “killed by the woke mind virus” — has vowed to leave the United States following President-elect Donald Trump’s historic win.
Vivan Jenna Wilson, 20, cut ties with father in 2022, when she filed a petition to change her gender, as well as her name, which she hoped would sever any connection between herself and her biological father.
Now, she wants to cut ties with the US after Trump’s re-election. Her father was an outspoken supporter of the President-elect’s successful campaign.
“I’ve thought this for a while, but yesterday confirmed it for me. I don’t see my future being in the United States,” Wilson wrote on Threads Wednesday after Trump’s win.
“Even if he’s only in office for 4 years, even if the anti-trans regulations magically don’t happen, the people who willingly voted this in are not going anywhere anytime soon,” she added.
Wilson – who is one of six kids Musk shares with his first wife, Justine Wilson – previously accused her famous dad of being an absent parent who was unaccepting of her transition.
Musk blamed “neo-Marxists” at elite private schools and universities for his estranged relationship with his daughter.
In a conversation with biographer Walter Isaacson, Musk claimed that the chi-chi Crossroads School for Arts & Sciences in Santa Monica infected Wilson with the “woke mind virus.”
“She went beyond socialism to being a full communist and thinking that anyone rich is evil,” lamented Musk, whose net worth is estimated at $285.6 billion.
Musk added that the rift with Wilson pained him more than the infant death of his firstborn child, Nevada.
“I’ve made many overtures, but she doesn’t want to spend time with me,” he claimed.
Musk doubled down in an interview with conservative pundit Jordan Peterson, during which he claimed that he had “lost my son” and that Wilson was “dead.”
Wilson hit back at her famous dad in an explosive NBC News interview, in which she described the X owner as “cold” and “cruel.”
Wilson claimed that Musk harassed her as a young child over her effeminate traits.
“I was in fourth grade. We went on this road trip that I didn’t know was actually just an advertisement for one of the cars — I don’t remember which one — and he was constantly yelling at me viciously because my voice was too high,” she recalled.
“He’s very quick to anger. He is uncaring and narcissistic,” she added.
Wilson also refused Musk’s claim that he was “tricked” into approving trans-related medical treatment for her when she was a teen.
“He was not by any means tricked. He knew the full side effects,” she insisted.
At the time of the interview, Wilson said she had not spoken to Musk in about four years.
Musk, meanwhile, morphed into one of Donald Trump’s biggest supporters during the 2024 presidential election cycle – donating nearly $120 million to a pro-Trump super PAC.
The cash infusion marked a pivot from his stance just a few months ago, when he said he was not supporting either White House candidate.
He shared the stage with Trump at the October rally in Butler, Pa., three months after the first attempt on the former president’s life there, and implored Americans to swing right.
Musk, 53, declared he’s “not just MAGA, I’m dark MAGA” to applause from the crowd.
