Princess Anne giving Charlotte training on how to solve royal issue Kate Middleton struggled with

Kate Middleton reportedly struggled with one aspect of public speaking when she first became a royal, and it’s something her daughter, Princess Charlotte, is learning to handle from an early age.

Living in the public eye can be stressful, and while senior royals are used to attending events and ceremonies, the younger generation must learn how to navigate these situations.

Nine-year-old Princess Charlotte, who is just starting her royal duties, is beginning to attend more public events, the Mirror reports.

She seems to understand the expectations of her behaviour and always conducts herself impeccably. She even takes on the responsibility of keeping her younger brother, the cheeky Prince Louis, in line during engagements and has been seen instructing her older brother, Prince George.

Despite the pressure of being in such a high-profile role at such a young age, Princess Charlotte appears to be managing well and is reportedly receiving guidance on how to handle royal life from her great aunt, Princess Anne.

Known for her strong work ethic and loyalty to her brother, King Charles, Princess Anne is well-equipped to pass on her wisdom.

Princess Charlotte was recently spotted at Wimbledon with her mother, Kate Middleton, who made a poignant return to the public eye at the tournament after her cancer battle. The pair not only enjoyed the tennis but also engaged with guests and players, where Charlotte is said to be receiving guidance.

Woman magazine reports that Kate initially found it challenging to navigate conversations when she began her royal duties and was assisted by Anne, who is now extending the same support to Charlotte.

A source revealed: “Anne’s ‘training’, if you will, isn’t just about rank, file, and curtsies either.”

The insider explained, “She’s shown her how to spark conversations, but also how to end one and move on without upsetting anyone. That was a tough one for Kate to learn, but Charlotte was born to royalty so is used to the subtle signals and messaging the royals give to stay in control of a situation.”

It’s understood that Prince William and Kate are “thrilled” that Anne, who commands immense respect, is offering their daughter guidance in her royal responsibilities.

The source added: “Anne was invaluable to Kate during those early uncertain years, especially as a commoner. She wants Charlotte to have the same candid tough love Anne gave her.”

Having made a return to the limelight following a horse-riding incident that resulted in concussion and a hospital admission, the Princess Royal has been spotted back on duty at the Paris Olympics. There, she engaged with Team GB athletes like swimmer Adam Peaty and even took on medal presenting duties.

A body language specialist observed that she appeared “excited” and “empowered”. They also commented on her confidence at such a major public event, noting that she “isn’t fazed by being on the public stage” and channels the essence of her late mother, Queen Elizabeth.

The expert said: “Like her mother, she is highly respected by the family for being a level-headed and firm member of the family – who also isn’t afraid to show her more natural and humorous side.”
