Two jaw-dropping wedding looks are better than one.
When Eva Amurri married chef Ian Hock on Saturday, the actress and lifestyle blogger certainly didn’t hold back when it came to what she wore.
The 39-year-old daughter of Susan Sarandon and director Franco Amurri walked down the aisle in a strapless, corseted gown from Kim Kassas that sparked some debate. The layered, column design featured intricate embellishments and a floor-grazing, detachable skirt, but it was the top that got people talking.
Some critics wondered if Amurri’s dress was too revealing for a family-friendly function, with one writing, “Beautiful bride, not crazy about the lingerie, I mean bridal gown.”
“What in the name of Holy Matrimonial Tatas is going on,” another wrote.
The criticism inspired the mom of three to fire back on her Instagram Story, telling those who were “scandalized” by her “breasts not being ‘put away’” to screenshot the close-up for later.
She also explained the inspiration in an interview that accompanied her professional photos.
“I love how it has a vintage feel and is ultra feminine without being overly pouffy,” Amurri told People when speaking about the look, which was purchased from Bridal Reflections in NYC.

“I wanted to feel sexy but elegant, and I think the dress strikes the perfect balance,” she declared.
While Amuri opted for a long, dramatic veil for the occasion, she kept the rest of her accessories somewhat simple. On her Instagram Stories, she revealed that she designed her diamond and pearl jewelry with CMS Custom, the brand that also created her engagement ring, and noted the items would now be sold as part of a special capsule collection.
For the reception, “The Happily Eva” after blogger chose to switch things up, changing into a flirty mini dress, also from Kim Kassas, that included feathers at the bust and an A-line lace skirt.
She also swapped out her footwear, pairing the eye-catching piece with white sneakers.
Hock, of course, didn’t slack when it came to his outfit either. He wore a sleek, dark suit from go-to wedding brand SuitShop, which also created smaller, cream-colored suits for Amurri’s two sons whom she shares with ex-husband Kyle Maritino, Major, 10, and Mateo, 4.
Amurri’s daughter Marlowe, 8, wore a white, Grecian-like gown from Bridal Reflections.
Congrats, Eva!
