Rebel Wilson addresses speculation she was the reason for Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher’s divorce

If Rebel Wilson’s recent allegations against her husband Isla Fisher are troubling, she doesn’t show it.

Fisher broke her social media silence after it was revealed that Wilson’s new memoir, “Rebel Rising,” contained some uncomfortable anecdotes about her time filming with Sacha Baron Cohen, who Fisher has been married to since 2010.

The allegations date back to 2016, when Wilson and Baron Cohen were filming “The Brothers Grimsby” together.

Wilson has described Baron Cohen as “an asshole,” written that she was “afraid” to work with him, and claimed he tried to prevent the release of Rebel Rising.

In the book, she claims that Baron Cohen constantly tried to persuade her to do lewd nude scenes.

Baron Cohen has denied allegations that he tried to stop the book’s publication. A lawyer representing the actor said Wilson’s claims were “provably false.”

His wife, Australian actress Isla Fisher, remained silent as the furore arose – until now.

But if followers were expecting a big announcement in which she defended her husband or attacked Wilson, they would have been disappointed.

Instead, Fisher posted a photo from a girls’ night out at the theater.

In the photo, a tousled-haired Fisher grins alongside Australian film producer Bruna Papandrea, Australian actress Naomi Watts and Downton Abbey star Michelle Dockery.

The star crew was at the theater to see a production of “The Hills of California” directed by Sam Mendes (whose credits include “American Beauty” and the Bond films “Skyfall” and “Spectre”).

The four of them seem to be having a great time.

“Girls night at the theater @hoctheplay,” Fisher captioned the happy snap, tagging the other three.

While some followers were happy to see Fisher having fun, others felt the need to chime in with questions about the entire Rebel Wilson scenario.

This prompted others to clap back, with one person telling the follower: “Mind your own business.”

This was Fisher’s first post since March 17 – before Wilson’s allegations against her husband came to light.

“I wrote about an ass in my book. “Now said idiot is trying to threaten me,” Wilson posted on her Instagram Stories ahead of the book’s original April 3 release date.

“He hired a crisis PR manager and lawyers.

“He’s trying to prevent the press from reporting on my book.

“But the book WILL come out and you will all know the truth.”

But on the day it was supposed to be available in Australia, fans couldn’t buy it.

The next day, a spokesman for Harper Collins Australia said the book’s release in Australia would be delayed to coincide with Wilson’s press tour.

The book is already available in the US, where 44-year-old Wilson is in the middle of her press tour.

The actress is expected to tour the UK at the end of April to promote the book. The book is now scheduled to be published there on April 25th.

Wilson is scheduled to return to Australia in May for a book tour, with an event at the Sydney Opera House on May 9.

Fisher has not publicly commented on Wilson’s allegations.
